Coldwar Commander at Slimbridge

A few weeks back I took my 1/300 (6mm) Coldwar Polish down to Slimbridge for the first game of the campaign Richard over at Coldwar Commanders (http://coldwarcommanders.blogspot.co.uk/) has organised. Set in 1989, this is the LANDJUT campaign covering the hypothetical invasion of Denmark by Soviet and Warsaw Pact Allies.

These are some of my photos of the event, and some of my tanks - it was a chance to get them out and be able to photograph them!

Polish amphibious forces, supported by my Motor Rifles seize a supermarket! there terrain we had there was superb!

Chieftains - NATO British heavy forces deployed to help the Danes, and the bane of my weekend!

More excellent terrain on the other table - the Kiel Canal.

Polish Motor Rifles scure the right flank of the town using T-34/85s! Some Category C units used them until the end of Communism in Poland
