Dire Wolf WIP #1

There's some paint on this one! I have the full kit printed, just need to do some brush work before I start gluing it all together. As with my other titans, the scheme is Heresy era Legio Mortis. This will be making it's way to Apocalypticon too.

Pleasure all Knight!

I need more knights to support the Iron Warriors, and Evanogainen has released a proxy for the Hellknight. I've built two as per the supplied files, and customised a third to look more like one of the Epic 40k originals, photos of that later. Note both of these are missing a thigh armour piece, for some reason these were detached in the STL, so need to be glued in place later. I've also assembled another 2 Hellstriders - two like the last pair but resin printed, with better legs, and 2 with a different gun, again more like the original Epic ones.

Iron Warrior Rhino Variants

For Apocalypticon, I need a few Rhinos to make the deploying of my infantry quicker and easier - I'm taking quite a bit of it! The easy solution is deploy in transports, and of course I like to tinker and make them more Iron Warriorish. Therefore here are a mix of straight builds, digital kitbashes and conversion in progress pics of some Rhinos I found on Cults 3d. I have quite a few more underway, so pics as they come. Rules wise, these are just straight up Rhinos.

A Logistics Rhino, this one is quite a bit longer than the norm. The Imperial BT emblems  need to go and be replaced with IW skulls.

While printing the bridge for the AVLB, I have a couple of failures, so I spliced them together, to make a deployed version. The bases will be replaced with printed ones, but they are needed to raise the hinge in the middle oft the ground. I still need to finish the GS work.

Apocalypticon Dark Mech

These will be operated by my mate Ben, who will be using them as the foot troops accompanying Legio Mortis. I've gone with a spider leg theme for my Dark Mech, and much of the infantry will ultimately be from 3rd party bits I collect from some boutique firms who no longer seem to offer them.

Iron Warriors for Apocalypticon UK

I really want to be able to share something painted with you all, but the truth is, I haven't picked up my paint brush in over a year - I just print, and occasionally glue stuff together. This is really done to a lack of blocks of time that you need for painting - hopefully this will improve soon, in the meantime, here's more unpainted, 3D printed stuff! It's the forces a friend and I will be taking to Apocalypticon UK. We're theming around Iron Warriors, Dark Mech and a traitor titan Legio.

Here's the work so far:

Perturabo - the popular Iron Daemon STL scaled up to 145% so it fills a 100mm base.

One of two conversions of the Iron Daemon. Made from failed initial prints at 100% size, with some other bits and pieces, this will be a winged daemon prince.
