At the moment it is designed to fit a certain set of wheels but can be used with some others with a little fettling. I will post details when I've spoken to the appropriate manufacturers and have their permission to release photos - it also accepts a track set like the WW2 prototype that inspired me.

Big Guns Part 3
We're getting closer on this one, lots of rivets to add and a few details to assemble. Those are a shell hoist, and suspension parts to theoretically allow the carriage to tilt when being towed whilst keeping the wheels on the ground.

Great White Miniatures
Shameless self promotion time! The covers are off since we have our first master thanks to Tom Crask, and so Great White Miniatures is live! Head over to the blog to see what's coming.

In future this blog will be solely for my own projects and not those I plan to sell via GWM. I will finish the coupe and artillery carriage coverage on here though since I started them here.

Scrap Tech Coupe Part 5
Here are the next 2 parts that I'm working on, the sides for the APC version and an arm for 2 of the heavy weapon options. (don't enlarge the photo it's a bit blurry!)
Here are all the pieces held together with blu-tac just to see how they scale up with each other.

Scrap Tech Coupe Part 4
Little bit more work. I've raised the height of the hood/bonnet as it looked a little low, finished the grill and started on one of the cabin styles

Big guns never tire
What an interesting day, I should have been finishing some programming work, and then having visitors - since the latter cancelled I got the building tools out again. I did a little more work on the coupe, but came to a halt on that as I'm waiting on some tubing for the next bit. Instead of wasting the time, I decided to start on my next project - a large scrap-tech artillery piece. I'm not sure what kind of gun it will have, but it's designed to provide a more generic carriage which can be fitted with guns from other ranges. Anyway, lots of detailing to add before then.
It's based on a WW2 Russian 203mm design which used tracks instead of wheels, but I think once I get this finished and cast up, I will offer versions with both wheels and tracks (indeed the Russian one was later fitted with wheels too). There's a Pound coin in the photo so you can see that this is truly a big gun carriage; some kind of siege piece I expect.

Scrap Tech Coupe Part 2
Just a little more progress:
Added wheel flares and worked on a hatch at the back for access to some internal mechanism (or entry for smaller riders?)

Back in the UK...
Well I've been home now for a couple of weeks, and well I can't say I'm happy at all. It's cold and grey here all the damn time and it's supposed to be summer! Anyway, my 40k stuff still hasn't caught up with me so I've been working on some scratch building projects to hopefully get cast up when they are done and sold to generate some income for other projects.
First up is the Scrap-Tech coupe:
The back section is lagging behind as I'm still designing this, but it will be modular to give several weapon/cabin options.
I'm struggling to find work at the moment which is unfortunate and unhelpful, but at least I have a car now thanks to my parents' generosity so at least I will be able to drive to 40k games very shortly! As a bonus it's an estate car/wagon so I have tonnes of room in the back to haul around all my scenery which will no doubt help get involved with the gaming community in the UK.
