Progress on my Rhino engineer vehicle.

Squad Juktope

Printed as part of a 30K assault marine squad, which was configured with 21 figures, so it could be used as one blob squad or 2 x 10man with two powerfist Sgts. I then thought if I made some special weapons I could then reconfigure as 2 Raptor squads for 40k. Adding 4 specials, I then had half a squad over, so a 3rd Raptor squad was created by printing a few more figures.

Squad Imbrope

This squad was made largely from a mixture of bits I printed a while ago, and had put aside as I wasn't happy with some aspect of them. I stuck them together with some spare Chaos marine bits, added my old 3d printed Chaos Lord and one of the Ebay purchased robed marines and here's another CSM squad.

Squad Hieragoria

All 3d printed troops, mostly my recon marines from 30k, with the Sgt of the rotor cannon squad seen earlier. The squad Sgt is also 3d printed (designated a Praetor) but used here as a Sgt, who in 30k with my used to represent artificer armour. The melta gunner is one of my GW plastics.

Squad Gournonesos

More of the older Mk.4 Ebay purchase, with a more recent purchased robed missile troop. These robed troops (more of them later) had some paint improvements and a rebase. The Mk3 is one of my GW figures.

Squad Feneos

Mostly an ebay purchase that looked so good I didn't even try and rebase. The 10th guy with a Lascannon is a 3d print which came out a little small, but looks fine with these guys.

'Crazy Dave' completed!

 After over a decade, Crazy Dave my Chaos dreadnought/Helbrute has a fully painted base!

Squad Ephissa

Mix of an older Ebay purchase of Mk.4 mixed with a 3d printed Heresy Heavy bolter marine, again part of a squad of heavy weapons usually.

Squad Dodagra

Mix of 3d printed, GW and Forgeworld parts that I built and painted as a Heresy Heavy Weapon Squad (the fifth rotor cannon is attached to another squad for this event).

Ebay purchase adapted to 32mm.

Squad Braururion

Another Ebay purchase which were simply rebased.

Squad Achassa

Working through the 300 approx Legionaries I'm doing for this event, I have divided my 40k and 30k infantry into squads suitable for use in 40k. The first 26 are based on the alphabet, the next batch are simply numbered and named accordingly.

These were an Ebay purchase which were rebased to 32mm and some paint details touched in, or recoloured to match other units.

Apocapaintathon - Outcome and Thank You!

I know it's been a while, but I want to say thank you to all the people that sponsored me! We raised £404 plus £85 in gift aid which is awesome! Thanks hugely! The reason I've been quiet, is that work has been taking up lots of time, and we've been in hay making season too here at the farm. Also I've been painting more legion infantry - pics to follow this week.

This is what I managed to paint in 24 hours. 61 Marines the majority of which are complete.
