Grot Mega Tank WIP

I quickly assembled this to clear another space on the work bench - several bits are not actually glued in place in these shots, and some bits are not shown (I haven't decided on which weapons to use yet).

Grot Tankette

Just clearing the painting table, where this has sat for a while. Just another quick and dirty Ork paint job on the Maxmini tankette!

Tempest Grav Tank

another of my Apocalypticon projects was repainting the Armorcast Tempest I'd scored on Ebay a while back. After removing the old paint, which was a nightmare, and involved wire brushes, I found the quality of the old casting was not great. So after spending a chunk of time with the Greenstuff, readding gems, surface details and filling bubbles I was ready to repaint. Initially I went with my Mai-bai scheme of white with a red turret, but painting the white to the standard I was happy with, proved to be too hard with all those flat panels (at least using my usual techniques). Since my Revenant, which was also going to be used is in Alaitoc colours, I decided to switch the Tempest to that sceheme too. In fact I'm going to reduce my own craftworld to a just what I need for a Ynnead army and paint the rest of my guardians etc as Alaitoc.

Ravager

No updates for a while, as I've been working on lots of DIY projects. Mostly my garage but did have to do some additional brick laying/repointing jobs at my parents' place too. I did put some items together for Apocalypticon which was held up in Holmfirth a couple of weeks back including adding some items to my Dark Eldar and Craftworld forces. This is a model I started back in 2011, and really only needed to complete the crew and highlighting, but since I hate assembling the metal gunners I'd put it off until now.

Mother Mashaaf

Another huge gribbly from Reaper. I'll not be starting on this until after a few of the other Mythos figures are done.

Gelatinous Cube

My favourite DnD monster! I bought this one for Pathfinder usage. A little tricky to assemble, I had to use PVA to fill some gaps, but the pile of bodies on the base is a nice touch. I need to base this on a solid base to stop the underside losing more grey paint .

Ravage Bear

A Numenera Ravage Bear, painted up for use in Star Wars, and on a recycled base from an old project too!

In Primer 4: Greys

Grey in primer, grey afterwards! Ideal for some X-File style RPG, or just to drop into Star Wars like ET was in the prequel trilogy.

All from Reaper. The Saucer is nice, but doesn't fit well together.

Ork Watchtower

This is a laser cut wood kit from Wargames Tournaments. Just a bit of fun, but I wanted to use up some Halford's satin primer! I'll get some better paint on it when I'm free again in a few weeks.

 

In Primer 3: Numenera

I have a few models from the range Reaper makes to accompany the Numenera RPG. I don't play that system, although it looks good, so instead mine will be used for Star Wars.
