Blood Pact Halftracks

The title almost rhymes, cool, I'm a poet and I didn't know it!

I've previous mentioned needing my Blood Pact army done for August as it's going to OFCC and Astronomi-con, well that month is almost upon us, and well I've haven't really made much progress. This means that now I'm working at high speed to get what's needed done. I will manage it, but I'm expecting a few late nights. I'm losing a bit of time as it's my birthday tomorrow, so I won't be around in the evening (Forgeworld items will be happily accepted as birthday gifts in case anyone is wondering ;)) and this coming weekend is Astromini-con. I'll be playing my DE again for that to keep extra painting off the workbench! For those who are interested, Astromini will be held at Gamestars in Langley BC and there are still places available - more details at:

Right, now the bits that everyone likes - pictures! :) These are WIP shots of the first four halftracks, the OFCC army requires 6 in total - one more Chimera and a Hydra. I do have an additional 5 in hand for later conversions including a Gryphon, Trojan and both Salamanders.

N20 Halftrack (counts-as a Chimera, there are 3 of these to complete, the second one is 95% assembled)

N20/16 (counts-as a Hellhound)

N20 Rakete (counts-as a Manticore)

The family shot!

Nice!! I really like how those are shaping up. Always loved the Blood Pact, and I'm digging what you're doing with 'em. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, just need to add rivets and filler to the second Chimera and Hellhound and we'll be at 50% of the total force built...then it's 72 infantry, 2 Russes, 3 Sentinels and a Valkyrie!

Hey I've just met you,
and this is crazy,
but I think this is a great tank,
so check it maybe?

haha seriously, take a look at that vehicle, I think it would fit your current project pretty well (although I would use Chimera tracks for it, to make it look more similar to the rest of your models), I'm going to use it for my chaos renegade militia

Yep the Ramshackle stuff is pretty cool - I have the transporter shown in the background of the pics for that tank, and which uses the same tracks. It's actually fairly large model pretty close to Chimera size if memory serves. It's ideal for a renegade pdf, so you are onto a good thing there, I assume you'd use as a replacement for the Chimera?

Yes, that's the plan. I'm sorry, but I can't see it in the pictures. Maybe it's in another one that you haven't uploaded...idk.
I've just taken a glimpse throughout your blog and I've been taken aback by your kitbashing and scratch-building habilities. Furthermore, you've bought some alternative models that I was planning to use for my CSM army, so thanks for the reviews! Now you have a new follower from overseas ;)
Oh, and just a last question: could you please tell me which brand produces this miniature? I think I'd be perfect for a daemon count-as in my Word Bearers project: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirtainly/6016173241/
Thanks in advance, man, and keep up the awesome work!

Ah sorry, I meant it's in the background of the Ramshackle photos - (it's the Gnu transport if you want to look for it on the Ramshackle site). Thanks for the kind words, I would only rate myself as average, but as with anything no doubt the more I do, the better I'll get! :)

As for the blue monster thing - he comes from a roleplaying adventure pack - you get a map and aventure, plus 3 miniatures - a portal, a dark elf and the monster. Sadly I can't recall which company made it now, I'll see if I can Google it and find out.

Sorry it's the GNU military transport as opposed to the GNU armoured transport in your link...poor naming choices there Ramshackle!

Great news I found the figure, and it seems you can buy him on his own without the set:

Wicked! Thanks a lot for both the information about the GNU and the daemon, it's been very kind of you :)
