Vindicators - WIP

Following on from the StuG like Vindicator Laser Destroyers, here's a WIP shot of the next 2 vehicles, two StuH like Vindicators.

Hopefully I should have another IW engineering vehicle done for tomorrow. The Nuln Oil wash is drying currently, so just highlights on the yellow stripes and weathering to do on it. I wish I could share what's actually been taking my modelling and printing time this week, but there are several secret projects. I might share something that was made out of a failed secret print, but it'll be a while as I need to get a few bits reprinted for it.

Mastodon - Fury of Olympia

The pace of updates is going to slow for a bit, I no longer have a backlog of finished units or vehicles to share, and August has been a busy month in all other areas of my life. In addition I'm working on some secret projects for the Apocalypticon event, which I'll share later. Tonight's upload has been a slow burn project, especially with having to rebuild failed prints as the reprint cost was too high. Anyway, it's done now and so onto the next thing. I'm hoping to have a few Vindicators to show shortly and my Rhino flail, but subject to the restrictions above.

You may recall the little disaster in May when the Warhound (Nox Serpens) melted (https://fortwargame.blogspot.com/2024/05/titanic-set-back.html). Well as of today, just like Lt. Dan he has new legs! 

Vindicator Laser Destroyer

3D print, fitted with side skirts for a WW2 Stug feel.

Fellblade - done

After having to reprint a sponson due to failed curing, the Fellblade is done. Since we were cutting some new flower beds in the garden, I took advantage of the bare earth for some photos.

Spartan #1

An Ebay buy to which I repaired the sponsons, and added pipes which were missing, and tweaked the paint job to match my other vehicles a little more closely.

Squad Enas

 First of the numerical squads, a mix of 3d printed with GW bits and E-bay rescues.

Rhino CEV Complete

 Another engineer vehicle done, one more to go.

Squad Zancliopolis

 Mix of my old 40k Havocs and 30k heavy weapons guys (old FW).

Squad Ypsos

More leftovers, to which I added the last 5 of the Ebay purchase. I may add some plasma gunners to this and the previous squad if I get them painted in time.

Squad Xanthi

Initially a half Squad, a mix of left over, but then I won another 10 Mark4 on Ebay, so I brought my two half squads to full strength. I may yet add a plasma gun to this and the next squad, it really depends on time.
