Shadows of Brimstone - Big Beastie!

I've started work on one of the big monsters for the Shadows of Brimstone game that I helped Kickstart.

Just the wings to complete then it's basing to do.

Clanking Behemoth

Something else for the Orks - a Kromlech Clanking Behemoth robot. Since it's Deff Dread sized that's what I'll be using it as - plus I need more of those to match my ever growing number of Killa Kanz (yes I'm scratch building 3 of those and just won an old metal one on Ebay!).

GCPD Swat

Some more Batman figures, this time the GCPD SWAT Team. The team leader, Branden, is one of the GCPD figs I have yet to paint.

War Buggy

Another kit from Puppetswar - a sort of FAV/Dune buggy. I started this for our 40k racing game but didn't get it finished in time. I'm hoping to add a gunner but I need to order some bits first.

GCPD Agent

I forget the name of this chap - the other agent is still awaiting some greenstuff work before painting.

War Bus

In addition to playing Batman, we played a 40k-esque version of Dark Future which was excellent. I used this, which will not be a Trukk in my Ork army should I ever start playing 40k again. It's a Puppetswar bus with the back cover,fitted and with the rear wheels used, rather than the tracks.

GCPD Cops

Some more of my crew - the two beat cops. I wish Knight would sell blisters of just the cops - I hate the fact that it's one cop with each agent in a blister. C'mon Knight, give us law guys a boost with a 2 cop blister!

I haven't been posting much as my gaming mojo has still been near zero, but I've soldiered on with getting a few things painted.

I mentioned we were playing some Batman though, and since a friend of mine was running the big Batman event at Wollaton Hall  (used as Wayne Manor in the films) a few months back, I opted to play. Here's some of the crew I used, I was running a pure Law/GCPD crew.

Commissioner Gordon

She's not a very stable model and falls over lots- hence the chips on the cape edge.

28mm Armoured Delivery Truck

Another model from TTCombat for use in Batman games (or Zombie ones). It'll be used with my Bank kit which is next on the workbench.

Apologies for absence! I've been having a bit of a crappy time with my hobby of late, and have pretty much given up on 40k. A series of bad games, unpleasant power gaming opponents and a deluge of ever more broken releases has killed my gaming buzz. I have been playing some board and card games, but nothing much to photograph.

Anyway my club is getting into doing some Batman gaming so we're knocking up suitable terrain to use. Here's my first piece, Apartment type 2 from TTCombat. I built it so it can be split down by level so we can put models inside.
