Cyllarus/Centaur from Citadel Journal

This is a Centaur armoured car, based on the design in Citadel Journal. I have already printed one in FDM in 2020, but I fancied another.  I now know a bit more about resin printing, and have bigger printers than I did back then, so I did this one in the technically better medium. Saying that, this one got a rough finish because I made some mistakes - it'll be fine when brushed over and painted. I still need to decide what sort of hatch I want on it, find some exhausts and stowage, and then add similar details to the FDM one to bring them inline. The reason I've renamed this a Cyllarus is that it avoids the clash with the current Centaur, and is a slight nod to the Russ chassis that it uses. For those that care, Cyllarus was a Centaur in ancient Greek Mythology. For those that want to print their own and use them, I'd made rules to use them in Apocalypse 2019:

Arbites Castigator - Beyond the Law

Inspired by an article in Citadel Journal 23, where Steve Hambrook made a converted Castigator Rhino (a mashup of really old Immolator bits, Rogue Trader era Rhino, Leman Russ tank and Arbites figure), I decided to build a more modern version. Taking a regular Rhino kit, I added some 3d printed panels from the Repressor, used one of my lightbars then scronged around for suitable turret parts. With a bit of tweaking, I stole some parts from a counts as Genestealer Cult truck  STL, a webber STL and an IG gun shield STL. The figure (not glued in currently) was recycled from a failed print, where the legs had not printed properly.

Lost and Forgotten Part 1: Yrrthilien Moursong

I've recently come across a stash of old Citadel Journals, and these are absolutely packed with crazy ideas from previous editions of 40k. Among these were rules for an Eldar character called Yrrthilien Moursong. I won't repeat all the fluff here, but he's a survivor from craftworld Muirgaythh. Formerly he was a musical performer but after his craftworld was destroyed by Slaanesh, he became an Exarch in an Aspect of one. Finding an ancient set of armour and the sword of his ancestors, he set out to fight She Who Thirsts on his custom jetbike, named "Screaming Gale. This jetbike has had the weapons replaced with a sonic cannon. 

It's total edge-lord stuff, but the conversion looks cool, and it's just a bit of fun, so I've tried to convert it to 9th ed. I aim to update a number of the thing I've found in these journals, and then include them as options in a PDF for use at my events which I hope to start running later this year or early next, like the old Tempus Fugitives and Mournival events guys have, I'll hopefully dig out some of the stuff from the old Animosity packs we did a few years back and give them the same treatment.
