Grenadier Ogre, finally done

I posted a picture of this chap in primer a while back, but here he is finally done. I had some issues with the paint going shiny on his legs, and Dullcote didn't seem to work to flatten it back, but I managed to salvage something there.

Another old Grenadier Dark Elf (or maybe just a High Elf?) Anyway, this one is better dressed than his compatriot! Sorry for the poor photos, took these on the camera just before a game session.

Here's one of my Grenadier Dark Elves, which are probably as old as me! This one seems to have gone for chainmail ass-less chaps - not my cup of tea at all!

In Primer 1: My first miniatures

This is just something new that I'm adding to the blog, pieces of my lead pile that have reached the primer stage. They cover all of the genres of models that I work on, and will be mixed in amongst the regular updates, and will hopefully motivate me to get some of these to the completed stage to share on here.

First off are some of the first models I owned, these are a mix of Grenadier and Prince August. I'm currently repainting and repairing these to use with Pathfinder.

Ogre, originally owned by my childhood friend, and in fact the first 28mm scale model I saw.
